Wings and wheels - part 4 - Nanchang and Cat

A regular at many Belgian events + a gorgeous British visitor... and they did a little formation fly-by!

The Nanchang CJ.5 is actually a Chinese licence build Yak-18... I rather like the way it looks...

I still can't believe I messed up the wheels-up fly-by of the Catalina... but these shots turned out better... isn't she a gorgeous plane?

I do like the tailwheeled Yak-18/CJ-5s. Much nicer than the nosewheel varients. :)

1. Captain, if the problem is not entered into the technical logbook.........then the aircraft does not have a problem.
2. And, if you have time to write the fault on a napkin and attach to it to the yoke.........you have time to write it in the tech log....see point 1.
