Lucky chap! Did you have any flying experience? Or could you "fly" the plane just on FS-knowledge... meaning: straight forward and level? I always wonder that, if I hear that people held the controls of a plane...
My glider license translated very nicely. For a short time I worked at Duxford as a volunteer. That was one of the aircraft that belonged to John Romane' Aircraft restoration Company. I got to play with some very nice stuff (and fly in the Blenheim). Time flies, that was about 15 years ago now.

1. Captain, if the problem is not entered into the technical logbook.........then the aircraft does not have a problem.
2. And, if you have time to write the fault on a napkin and attach to it to the yoke.........you have time to write it in the tech log....see point 1.
