airventure 07- part 11- misc. military

Most of the military demos were too high or too far away for my camera, but I got some nice statics. This F-16 flew a typically fun demo... no, I was not allowed to sit in the cockpit. ;D

The C5A speaks for itself.  :o

Remember that Caribou I showed earlier? Here's the flight deck.

That particular "Boo" served proudly in Vietnam for a few years, and the VC did their best to bring it down, to no avail. ;D

On a lighter note: one of two very fine Chippies that came down from Canada for a visit.

The eerie B2 did a nice multi-pass flyby...

Best shot I could get of the beautiful heritage formation... that's Glacier Girl in the lead slot, lookin' good.

that shot of the B2 is great!

You should see it full-res. ;D

They flew it very low and slow, and did some nice midfield breaks, banking steeply. Seems like it's fun to fly.

That heritage flight was really awesome.  That was the shiniest F-86 I'd ever seen. 8-) ;)
