Lucky Catch

Went to KPIT last night to see if I could catch some planes coming in for the air show this weekend. Look what I caught.

That's a fine "gooney"... first saw  Flagship Detroit in Tampa earlier this year, and had a look inside. Be sure to visit it on the ramp if you can- the crew is friendly and happy to answer questions, as well as discussing  the finer points of flying the MAAM-Sim DC-3/C-47 models. ;D

well i caught some helos and a C-5 on approach going to the airshow while i was at the pool today...they were landing on 32 so i got some good fl3000 shots on my throw away camera...went to Best Buy and got an extra memory case so I have enough room for the pics this weekend.

I was going to catch their practice runs earlier today but RT60 was entirely closed today but none the less great catch there

What a catch.  its great that there are a relitively substantial amount of the DC-3s still flying in their original liveries.
