Sorry if I sound mean but, why do all your shots look like your using a $20 camera, and you have no idea what focus is, expect for #3 (well that may be the heat in the others) :-?

Judging the quality, I think our friend use the digital zoom of his camera... a big no-no, as it lowers the quality... stay with the optical zoom...

Oh, and BTW... KONT is the Dutch word for ass or bottom...  ;D

I use the Canon Powershot A95. The bad quality is because the soom isn't very good and I wasn't allowed any closer to the airport.   :-[

Nice landscape opportunity with the Southwest 737 and ExpressJet ERJ 145. Good effort on the one with the 737 on departure from behind the ALS.  I know it can be hard when you're taking pictures of an airplane going +/- 140 kts on approach, but try to center the subject a little better.  Otherwise, not too bad for your first time out.  The first camera I used was a Canon 35mm and the pictures came didn't come out as well as yours believe it or not.

You definitely need a better camera, or maybe lay off the zoom a bit and use cropping to bring the planes "closer"... you've got an eye for composition, that's for sure.  :)

Dont crop too much as that will kill the shot even more  8-)

Check this out: found it while doing a paper for summer school: airfoto.photosite.pl Provides some excellent information that I expect you will like.

Nice try.  Photography is a tough skill to master, and one that I certaintly haven't.  I need to post my pics from my recent Citrus HPN-ATL-HPN trip.

Good snaps for a Powershot.

I have an A80 and I'm thinking about how to kill that friggin' thing best everytime I have to take a photo.

As said, quality is a bit lacking...but that ain't your fault !! Love number 3, great angle!!

Think its cool to see some shots with a cool backdrop, unlike all the boring plane+blue sky ones which we see so many of, even if they are 'quality'  :)
