Iraqi Migs

Postby BFMF » Mon Jun 11, 2007 1:13 am

I promised Bjorn more photos of some Iraqi Migs. These can be found at the LSA Anaconda Air Force base in Balad, Iraq.

Besides the Migs, there are a couple anti-aircraft guns, an old Chinese Rocket launcher truck, a couple Iraqi tanks, and a lot of other crap...

Why is it wherever Americans go in the world they get an urge to graffiti things? Remember that kid in Singapore who got the cane for it? ;D

Everybody does. The Marines, Air Force, Army, & Navy are always talking s**t towards each other on the bathroom walls... ::)

You'd be better off building an entirely new airframe!

I never did any graffiti in my time in uniform. Mind you I did once tie a corporal to his bed and then we left him in the middle of the rugby pitch next to the runway at RAF Wyton. The noise of the Nimrods (which were temporarily using Wyton) coming in at 3am managed to wake even him... not that he could do much about it with about 30 yards or rope holding him firmly to his bed ;D ;D ;D
Poor Bishop he and the rugby pitch were not friends. He also ended up suspended from the rugby H by his ankles using quite a lot of rope during a party and we then covered his head in shaving foam ;D

Shame I like the Flogger so much. In my opinion, the nicest looking Soviet built jet ever.

If they had these active in 1991 you could take that literally... some were modified as chem warfare sprayers.

And when did US soldiers learn MSN arabic (3rd one under the elevator)

An-225, the MiGs have been buried in the sand.  ;) You can't restore them.
