Odd contenders at Antwerp

Postby Omag 2.0 » Wed May 23, 2007 1:51 pm

Some of the stranger visitors to this vintage fly-in....

I had a long nice chat with the owner of this home-built plane... it's a Heintz CH.200 Zenith

It's slow, doesn't climb and drinks a lot, but still he liked it. He entertained quite a few visitors with his stories...

Pitts special... to bad it only parked here...

This one must put a smile on Hagar's face... though it isn't an Extra 300 but a 200

Image

Round of applause for the braves contestant... a motorised glider, a technoflug Piccolo B ( In Belgium, a piccolo is a kind of breadroll, roughly the same size!  ;D)

Image

And a Great Lakes Bi-plane... awsome appearance...

Seen one a few times.  Very nice plane and the pilot, Paul Fiala, really knows how to fly it!

Great pictures in all the series.

I really like that Great Lakes (like everybody else it seems).
