G-VFWE 07 Sunday Pt 4

Postby Hagar » Wed May 23, 2007 10:10 am

Not finished yet. Here's a selection of US-built high-wingers. No Pipers as they have their own thread.

A couple of classic Cessna taildraggers to start with. I noticed several aircraft here carrying both CAA & FAA registrations.

One of several nice Taylorcraft. Very pretty.

Nice little Aeronca Champ

& its big sister the Sedan. This is the only example on the UK register.

Stinson Voyager.

A very smart Luscombe 8E Silvaire Deluxe.

Silver Silvaire's are the way to go  8-)

Not that i'd say no to that red one, it's a beauty

That first Cessna is very sleek though, lovely lines  :)

Thanks Doug, great shots all the way through, you must have been in Seventh Heaven  :)

Thanks Kris. Hullavington is a large ex-RAF airfield. This shot will give you some idea. http://www.simviation.com/yabbuploads/da-IMG_3990hn.jpg
