Sun and Rainbow

A quick one while i was swimming today.

This is not a rainbow, but an ice-halo. The icecrystals in the cirrusclouds break the sunlight up in the colourspectrum.

I have to correct Riflemans claim... It is a partial 22

Kris, see if this is the same as what both you and I are talking about........or are there real distinct differences in some........I was led to believe that even the total circle was called a sundog........i've been wrong before.........only once, but yes I was wrong at some time  ;)..........

As you can tell, I'm not your average meteorology majoy.......there's clouds in the sky with lights in them........LED's I believe  :-[

I saw a halo today ........or maybe it was just an angel watching over me.......
