Ya gotta love the nose profile difference between that StratoCruiser and the Starlifter (pic No 4).....it's no wonder they weren't suited to refueling jet traffic..........

I must add that the civilian version of this design was one of the most elegant airliners ever, with very long "legs". They had their problems, but by gosh, that was real airline travel!! ;D
