Absolutely loved China, definately a lifetime experience.

Spent 7 nights in Beijing, 2 night in Xian and 4 nights in Shanghai.

Nice pictures.  I like to see people's pictures from their travels. 8-)

I like the boat, is it really floating?

Thanks. Nah, way to heavy to float. It's on a solid block of concrete, but looks cool.

I just found some of Banff, Canada when we went there last Xmas (05) but it was -40 deg and all the shots were screwed. Only the vids came out.

BTW, love your sig pics, very cool

Yeah Siemens from what I remember on the blurb. Some very impressive engineering.

They were talking about linking Shanghai with Biejing with a Maglev and this is the test phase track.

Yep.

They were also talking about linking Munich and Munich airport.

Now guess which of those two projects is more likely to get realized... ;D

Nice vacation snaps! ;D

That terra-cotta army at Xian is something I've always wanted to see for myself.  :o
Shanghai looks interesting, if very smoggy. Actually, I've seen pictures of much worse smog days there and in Beijing...
