Antarctica: A Preview

Well, as some of you may remember, I made a trip to Antarctica back in December/January 2006/2007, here's a few photos.



Barrientos Island, in the South Shetlands at around 10 pm on the night of the second day of the actual cruise (we made great time across the Drake passage, so we had time for an extra landing).

I'm not fussed how you post them, but I suppose if they all on a Flickr account then it would be easier for us to see them all in one place.

For the most part, not really.  The only problems we were warned about was that the cold might make your battery run out quicker, but I kept it in a warm pocket of my Expedition Jacket and charged it every night.

Penguins... I dunno about penguins- I think they're up to something. Never turn your back on a penguin.  

As for the album choice: make a flickr album, but post a few more here.  ;D
