You know it will be a long wait...

Postby beaky » Wed Apr 04, 2007 7:31 pm

When they wheel out a TV and VCR to show a movie at the gate...  :-/

My flight home was supposed to leave 1/2 hr ago, but the aircraft hasn't even arrived from rain and wind-lashed Newark... looks like we'll be wheels-up about 3 hrs late (assuming no further delay).
the good news: I've been sitting by a window for two hours, and I have free WiFi and a camera!! ;D

Enjoy...

Where are you stuck?

Tampa... where everything in the airport closes at 9:00. Barbaric.
I've withdrawn to the main terminal, where I  can step outside for a smoke at least. My flight is now scheduled to depart about 11:00... ugh.
Had I known it would be this bad, I could've hung out and celebrated with my workmates... but I'm just happy this job is overwith, and I miss my doggie... snif... can't wait to give Peg (The Wonder-Rotty!!)  a big hug!! ;D

Wuss. ;)

Ah well, try and find something to prop your camera and take some long exposure departures. Should be a fun challenge. Or go to sleep. Whichever. :)

Well at least your not coming in off a 14 hour long haul to find the delay.  Got in from Taipei to find I was spending an extra hour at LAX which eventualy turned into 2 hours.  Spent almost 7 hours total before I finally got off the ground.  Then ran to the next gate at Chicago thinking I was going to miss the flight to FWA...it to had an hour delay I didnt know about :-[

Like shot 5...CO B1900 was the first aircraft I ever flew on back in 98 8-)
