Hey there, well avalon was great even if the weather wasnt the best. Heres a few of my shots. In the hercules shot, check out the kickass prop vortices

Shame the nose is missing on the first D&B F111! Still, some interesting catches. 8-) We need walls of fire like that at our shows.

I take it the venue was backlit, or is that just me? Also, you may want to try lower shutter speeds on the props next time. :)

Whoa! Those are pretty cool pics!  

Never seen a fuel dump like that F-111 before!  :o ;D

thanks for the comments guys. And also for the tips Heathaze. No the venue wasnt backlit, it was either 7/8 cloud or only 3/8 cloud, the only lights i remember seeing was the ones in the car park. When i was sitting down, i was facing west, so the sun came from behind and set in front of me. i think my shutter speed went from 1/125 to 1/600 depending on the sun. it was just a bugger. The F-111 came in closer than i had selected but my main objective for that shot was to get the flame and wingtip vortices in the shot. Then when he came around for a nother pass, thats when i got the next shot.
