More from the fence

Lovely weather this weekend & the residents were out in force. Some of my favourite biplanes.

I rather liked this one. Yes, it was intentional. :)

Here's a couple of those cigar tubes on the way into Gatwick.

Thought I'd try something different for a change. I don't usually look up that high. ;)

All those lovely de Havillands

Thanks but look again Mark. There's only one. :P

I might be thought of as a  fast jet man, but you can't beat some vintage like those Moths every now and again, lovely. 8-) :)

Especially like the military marked Tiger in the third pic.

Tiger moths! A Christen Eagle! A Pitts! You lucky dog!  ;)

Great shots Doug!

The Piper - 747 combo-shot looks rather cool! I like how both seem to be in focus...

Thanks again for the comments. Glad you like 'em. I have so many that it's difficult to choose which ones to post.

To clarify, the first two are Stampe SV4, #3 is a Tiger Moth in pre-WWII CFS display team markings. It usually lives at Goodwood but I hear the airfield is waterlogged. There's now another one just like it based at Old Warden.

Great shots Doug!

Thanks Kris. That Piper is actually a Socata TB10 Tobago. It fooled me at the time too.

Great shots Doug, nice and sharp  ;)

I love the Pitts, but I just can't get on with the colour scheme on the Eagle  :-/
