Very cool visitor into KABE this evening

Postby flyboy 28 » Sun Mar 11, 2007 7:35 pm

I went to KABE this evening to see what was going on. It was a bit warm today and I had already been to Somerset, Solberg and Sky Manor (those pics later) so I decided to round out the evening. I pulled up to 'Hangar Seven' which is the FBO for the airport. This beauty had already started up. A Piaggio P180.

By the time she took off though, it was too dark to get any good shots. :( I was happy though. It really is a sharp looking plane.

Next up are shots from Somerset.

Very nice, I've never actually seen one of those outside of AirVenture.  Good catch. :)

Before going to fly for Alpha, my father was offered the oppertunity to go fly those for a living. Unfortunately he didn't have enough twin time.

But I did get to sit in one, and in the cockpit. Its by far the nicest prop aircraft made.

The eye of the beholder, and all that... this eye beholds beauty. Nice photo, too-not perfect, but that sky!
