Not too much in the way of commercial traffic today. Just two more shots.

Nice shots, James!!

Looks like a good spot on the second pic for spotting!!  Is that from the flightline or a spot you can get to all the time?

First shot is an even better way to spot!! :)

I have to admit. I was standing on top of a huge chunk of frozen snow, which me being over six foot tall, I could clear the barbed wire fence in the parking lot providing the nice shot. :P I went in and asked if it would be okay if I spotted, and they had no problem with it. So maybe if I become friends with someone, I could get out onto the ramp.... :)

How is the action there?  Do you think it's worthy of a road trip for me?

Cory, just coming up to see me is worth the road trip. ;D

There's some interesting things that come in there though. The entire hour and a half I was there, there was a T-28 Trojan doing touch and go's. See my sig for the example. :P Actually the reason I went yesterday was to catch the DHL 727 leave for Manchester, VT. Just as I pulled into the airport, I saw the big plume of smoke and heard the massive roar. It's definetly a lot more laid back than most commercial airports though. No hounding from "the man". :)

I just checked out the hi-res shots from your sig James. Excellent. :)

Didn't see that T-28 though. :P

The lens wasn't suitable for that small of a plane that far away. I just made it artsy. :P

Thanks again.

It is indeed... Mentor, not Trojan.

The Trojan is a huge single-seat radial-powered beast, although somewhat similar in its basic lines.
