Two from Somerset today

Postby flyboy 28 » Sun Feb 25, 2007 7:54 pm

I went into New York City today for lunch. On the way back, my dad and I stopped at Somerset (KSMQ) so I could apply for a summer job there. This too is a very spotter-friendly airport. They even have this thing where you can tune your FM car radio to a frequency which is connected to the UNICOM. Which is good if you don't have a scanner. But I do, so there's no point. :P Anyhoo, there wasn't much going on today. Low cieling moved in this morning due to a winter storm we're recieving right now. On the way out, I snapped two pics of two of the many Piper Pawnees they have as towplanes. What a workhorse. :)

Thanks guys. :) I'm handing in my application tomorrow. I couldn't finish it at the airport because I wasn't sure of the phone numbers of my previous employers. :P I should know by the weekend though.

That's cool, I might have a job by this weekend too!  Only I'll be working at a pet hotel  :P
