More manchester (Pt 2)

Postby Mictheslik » Wed Feb 21, 2007 10:27 am

First few taken from viewing park, then the fun begins.

The A330 end of runway one was taken from the end of 06L (the old runway)

The others were taken yesterday morning of aircraft departing 24L (the new runway)

To get to both of these spots a long walk up and down muddy banks was required...shame it was a bit dark at the end of 06L, I couldnt be bothered spending half an hour going all the way over there again yesterday, so I just stayed on the side of the new runway.

Now there's a nice crossection of what's flying our skies today... That finnair-thingy is an Embraer 190 or 175... not sure about the number...

Three guesses wich bird I liked the most...  ;)

From the look of that, that's a China Airlines plane (Republic of China, Taiwan) not Air China (People's Republic of China)  ;)
