Flyboy's summer trip to Nova Scotia, pt. 2

Postby flyboy 28 » Sat Jan 20, 2007 11:16 am

We arrived in Canada safe and sound. This is pretty much what we saw for the duration of the trip; lots of road and shrubs. :D

We drove to Lookout Pointe, which is along the west coast of Nova Scotia. Quite beautiful.

After the lookout, we drove down to the Bay of Fundy, which is a provincial park. The tides are crazy. If you stood on the edge of the water and your knees were dry, they would be covered with water within five minutes if the tide was coming in. Amazing.

Ewwww.

I was a good quarter-mile to a half-mile ahead of my parents. Just look how far the tide is out!

Next- more water!

Never been up that way... looks interesting.
So is the next set underwater shots, as the tide came in ("Chapter 4- I am swallowed by a giant halibut") ? :D

The ferry looks like fun- but I can't see why anyone would sit there watching movies the whole time. I'd be hanging out on deck or wandering around the ship, myself. Or hunting for single women... ;D

LOL Not quite. ;)

Not sure either. The boat is actually rather small once everyone is on board. Hard to walk around without bumping into someone. I wandered out on to that cat walk sorta thing to take the pics of the rooster tails. Not much else to do. I was thinking about asking if I could go up to the "flight deck" so-to-speak to see what it was like. I dunno, I think that curious five-year-old impression I leave on people is wearing off. A gruff 17 year old who hadn't shaved in a week holding a camera wouldn't leave the greatest impression. ;D And on the single women bit; I had just started dating my girlfriend the week before I left. It would be bad if she and I were just hanging out and I get a call from some chick I met on a boat. :o ;D

Not deep enough. :o ;D ;D

Where are the rest of the pics then? :-? ;D

Apologies. I've had mid-term exams all this week and I haven't had much free time. They'll be up by this afternoon. Hopefully. ;D
