One dozen steel cans make their way through the rural landscape of Lower Saxony.


The comercially most successful western tank ever. The Leopard 2. The ones shown here are the current 2A6s, the ones in the pics above are the old A4s.

Thankfully, I havn't been stung by a scorpion. I've seen them, and caught them, but I havn't been stung. I havn't been injured at all yet, and besides becoming a heat casualty and getting a case of jungle foot, no serious medical problems....That is untill I get blown up

Sun burns? With all of the gear we wear, there isn't a lot of skin exposed to the sun. Only my hands and part of my face get tanned. We're not allowed to get burned, or we can get in trouble.

Sure, i've met a lot of nice people, atleast when they're not trying to kill us...

Same for me. Only had the "NATO tan" on arms and face.
And getting in trouble for sunburns? Souns familiar to me. But I always considered this a joke.
