Some more from the dog park

Postby beaky » Sat Dec 09, 2006 12:08 am

Hey, why not...
Been trying to get Peg out to this excellent dog park near me every weekend; got a good hour or so in before sundown the other day...

Not such a great day with the camera, but I like this plaque:

Image

Getting to know you... getting to know all about you...

Image

"I'm not sure what it is either, Daddy, but it smells like a dog..."

Image

"Get a load of those two, willya..."

"Yes; most undignified..."

Image

This little bull terrier stole my heart... he would not give up that ball for anything!!

Image

Quite a variety of breeds at the park that day...

Peg is slowly warming up to the whole dog park scene; maybe next time I'll be able to coax her up onto this thing.  ;D

Great pictures of the dogs. I wish I could do that with my dogs.

I am just a train fan who happens to like flying and attempting to get the better of the mods especially those with 20/20 vision ;D ;D

My dog Biscuit can NEVER go to a dog park.  She hates other dogs...

Ugh, lepto... thanks for the heads-up, but this park is deep inside a nature reservation, surrounded by upper-crust suburban homes... very unlikely to harbor rats.
I suppose another dog could bring it into the park community, but some exposure to disease is the chance you take to allow your dog to socialize.
However... I will keep a closer eye on where Peg is sniffing on walks near home... a different story, rat-wise.

Looks like these dogs have a lot of fun...

Shame that i don't have a camera in my mobile phone... there is a guy that has a garage close to where i work, who has a HUGE (6 ft when standing on its hind legs) guard dog running around.

Very nice, I wish we had those in England, they'd go down a storm with our Skye! :)
