A stroll in the park ....

Postby Hagar » Fri Nov 03, 2006 4:12 pm

... or Grumpy's tour of Sussex in Autumn continued. Parham Park is a few miles north of Arundel where I was yesterday. The Elizabethan house & gardens is reputed to be one of the finest in the country. It's closed for the winter but a stroll through the surrounding ancient deer park costs nothing, as long as we keep to the footpath.

Looking back at the main gate.

Righto, on we go. This will be a proper Grumpy's mystery tour as I've never been here before either. ;)

Very... pastoral. :)
Those deer are sort of elk-like, horn-wise. a little different from our ubiquitous whitetail.
Yoiks and away, etc. !  ;D
