Cessna Highway Takeoff

This was about 2 or 3 weeks ago.  Following an engine failure of a cessna 172, the pilot landed the plane in the middle of a field.  

Well, here it is, with the new engine installed!  The old one is lying in the grass.  



Here is the taxi-out following the farmer's truck and me behind the plane.  It had to go across the span of the farm before reaching the highway



And heres the take-off video.  Sorry I didnt get the whole liftoff.  I had to block off traffic in the truck.

I would have gotten more photos, but my hands were so greasy I was kind of soft on my digital camera

This works out well in the right place with the right decisions... I can only imagine how many YouTube viewers were disappointed there was no crash.  ;D
