It's as noted a:
1965 Mercury Comet Caliente (4-door model)
It was built in Metuchen NJ
Engine: V-8 289 CID engine with 2 barrel carb
The sticker price for it brand new was $2327
There were 20,337 made in 1965
and mine was the 12399 ordered and delivered on October 17th 1964

As of right now the car is pretty good mechanically, just some noisy valves, and what I believe to be a worn seal or o-ring on the air-ride shock on the passenger rear side.

Rest of the work is body work and cosmetics on the inside SHouldn't be too many years
