Mic in Edinburgh Part 3

Postby Mictheslik » Sun Aug 13, 2006 4:21 am

The continuation of our week in the Scottish Capital

At the Royal Botanic gardens

Image

Edinburgh Military tattoo...would have been better with a flypast from the BBMF or something...instead of having aircraft sounds played through the speakers. It was quite impressive when they lit the castle up as a Union jack

Edinburgh military tattoo again

Holyrood house, Our Dynamic earth and the New Scottish Parliament building from Arthurs seat

I leave you with the walking 1984 advert.....not handing out leaflets, just shuffling really slowly up and down the royal mile!

Image

Haggis tatties and neeps....mmmmmmmmmm delicious!

Image

That concludes the trip.....if anyone is ever in Edinburgh I reccommend a cafe called maxies on Victoria terrace, and the Cakes from Holyrood Palace coffee shop (They're expensive, but worth it!)

Splendid! Not to sure about the haggis-stuff...  ;D

First shot is really cool... those plants make it look like a shot from the caribean, with lots of palmtrees...  ;D

Nice tour. I've never been north of the border.
