Well, it's getting late- one last look, and a promise to come back this summer... preferably on a very hot day.
The climb up is a little harder than our usual spot, but Peg is full of energy today. She's a pretty good climber; very persistent.
I took the side windows off the top for the ride back, with predictable results. Peg loves speeding along with her snoot in the breeze. And good news: I found on the way back that I'd driven right past the intersection I'd been looking for: forgot there was actually a street sign there. I won't forget next time.

Took a little detour to a certain lovely little airport between two ponds... no more flying that day, apparently. Just paused for a quick look and a snapshot.
This is a very poor image of one of the most beautiful cloud formations I've ever seen. The sunset light was perfect, and the silvery-blue of that cloud, with the other gorgeous colors behind it, was just amazing. Very Maxfield Parrish-y. Of course, I was flying down 280 East in fairly heavy traffic with no place I could pull over and get a decent shot of it.
