Oh.. it's a sweet little thing. Light , fast and agile.

My only complaints:

You adjust the pedals.. not the seat.. Which isn't bad and probably good.. being that it's a stick-flyer.

Not only that, a production Europa... I'd prefer to build and fly my own monowheel version, but the Liberty looks pretty cool.I hear the finger-brakes are not a big deal once you get used to them; supposedly you can sort of work the brakes and the throttle at the same time, to some extent.

Indeed it is... Improved (enlarged) for the US market though! ;) ;D

Top aeroplane though - one of my university tutors worked on its aerodynamics many moons ago.

As for the finger brakes - sound a bit fiddly to me.

As for the rudder pedals, having adjustable rudder pedals seems a modern way of doing it, particularly in composite aircraft, as the seats can be moulded into the monocoque. Its the same in the Grob 115 - the pedals are adjustable and the seat position is modified using variable thicknesses of cushion.

Very nice looking aeroplane ;)

I am not sure about the finger brakes and adjusting the rudder pedals though.  Why no brakes on the rudders as most DeHavilland products and Douglas products you adjusted the rudders forward or backwards and most of them had toe brakes.
It is always nice to be able to adjust the seat forward, backwards and up and down as well.
I will say the fuel consumption is very nice though. :)

All in all a nice aeroplane.

Cheers...Happy Landings...Doug
