Air Action over Pocono Raceway

Postby Willit Run » Mon Jul 24, 2006 7:07 pm

Here are some of the aircraft that flew over the speedway on Sunday.  The Ballon i shot going down the P.A. Turnpike.  The A-10's took me by suprise ( Yes , by suprise!! ).  I had my headset on and didn't here my buddy yell until the last minute.

 Enjoy!! :)

99% of the NEXTEL / NASCAR races open with some sort of Military aircraft flying over.  ;D  A C-5 did a fly-by over Pocono one time and they were saying how every car in the starting line-up and their pitcrews and tools could fit in it.  That was pretty cool.

You know how you can tell who's a NASCAR fan?.....

.....They think the national anthem ends with "GENTLEMEN, START YOUR ENGINES", and a fly-over. ;D
