The Ospreywas process of deduction - what other grey helicopters would have a probe like that other that a Blackhawk...

A refuelling probe in that position on an A10 would last long...

I think they mistook it for the wing, it kind of looks a bit similar, if the probe was the wing and the nose was the nose.

P.S. Tomorrow i will delve into the folder named RIAT 05! All of these were either at Biggin Hill or RIAT This year (and a couple at Manchester Ringway on a spotting day)
