Would I be right in thinking either your friend is VERY tall or was flying? ;D Great photos!

Whats the deal with the biplane rudder in #5? (the one leading)

Looks like it's deflected a little to the right... but maybe you're talking about that weird red shape near the tail. That's the MiG shown in #1.
