Another Dakota?

This aircraft was used as a transport for late president Truman AFTER his presidency.

From what I have heard it was forced down at this field back in 1981 in the midst of a pretty bad summer thunderstorm and has never been flown out.

Some say the runway is too long, DAK pilots I talked to yesterday said runway is more than long enough.

Currently the aircraft belongs to a guy who thinks it's basically priceless but is looking to sell it for more than it is worth.

I myself think that it is going to sit there for many more years and never leave in one piece sadly. :(

means she doesnt even exist according to the FAA anymore... :(
