61's Cosford - Spit's

Postby 61_OTU » Mon Jun 12, 2006 2:58 pm

Well, shooting fish in a barrel really, as Craig said we were rather spoiled for choice. Frustratingly I didn't do too well with Anthony Hodgson's PT462, but Peter Teichmann's PR.XI was right opposite us, and stayed until the end for a departure shot that I am really very pleased with (you can have it for your sig John, to go with the Alphasim one ;) )

The end of the display. Flaps and undercarriage, and a curving approach. I liked the heat haze (not Heathaze) which obscures the spit and the other types in the foreground

Departure. One of the last to leave, I was really pleased with this one

Boy if ever there was something that a man got right. From the first to the last the spitfire is Great Britains answer to Michelangelo's David.

Great shots
