Old Warden - Kittyhawk

Postby Hagar » Mon Jun 05, 2006 7:41 am

Surprise visitor. Someone told me a P-40 was inbound & sure enough. :D

Peter Teichman had a problem with his Spit Mk XI so he brought his latest toy instead. He traded his Staggerwing for this beast. History here. http://www.hangar11.co.uk/kittyhawk.html

The proud owner with his pride & joy. What a nice chap he is, a real enthusiast.

Thanks Peter for a cracking display. :D

Doug! What a nice series of shots! Amazing crip and clear. Must be quite a treat to watch this beauty fly!

Great snaps Doug. Bad luck on the XI though :(

There are two types of aeroplane, Spitfires and everything else that wishes it was a Spitfire!

Never mind. He promised to bring it next time. ;)

Anyway, the P-40 made a change from all those Spits. If you speak to my old mate Brensec tell him I'm coming round to his way of thinking. It's a nice aeroplane & a classic in its own right. ;)
