This afternoons 'exercise'..

Postby TSC. » Thu May 25, 2006 1:05 pm

Hi all,

Just a quick one from my afternoon. A friend & I decided to dust off our golf bats, dig out a couple of golf pucks & head over to our local pitch & putt course. It's not quite golf, but it's a nice course in a really nice setting - & it's cheap ;D

Cheers,

Nice one TSC. There's nothing like a relaxing game of golf....apart from another relaxing game of golf. Is the ball in motion on this shot or did it stop short??

As Oscar Wilde said "Golf ...... a good walk ruined." I tend to agree.
I don't mind watching but attempting to play killed my back.

Rather large water hazard there,  what?
;D

Golf bores me to tears, but only because I've worked as a caddy, yet never swung a club. I mean bat. Wait, no, a club.

Well, I can't remember the hole exactly - so i'll assume it went the same way as the other 17 holes........................meaning it stopped short.

I don't mind watching but attempting to play killed my back.

Oh god no - now I would find watching really boring - & it definatley would be a good walk ruined.

Golf bores me to tears, but only because I've worked as a caddy, yet never swung a club. I mean bat. Wait, no, a club.

It's a strange game, it can be both incredibly frustrating one minute & then incredibly rewarding the next - like walking from the 18th hole to the 19th ;D

Just checked with my mate Rotty, he's pretty sure they're called golf 'rackets'.

Cheers,
