Home on the range

Hello all. Theres a long story that goes with these photos, and I'll give you the 'readers digest' version. It all started in January when I was out of work for about 3 weeks. I managed to get another job with about the same pay-rate, but the damage was already done. I could no longer afford to pay my rent or my bills and as a result I had to move in with my Dad.

It has it up-side though, for one I now live in a house instead of a filing cabinet.


And there are plenty of animals to keep me company.

This is Ginger. She is running because she knows that I have a handfull of apple flavored horse bisquits.


And this is Doc. He never gets excited about anything, but he does enjoy a good bisquit.


This strange little creature is The Goat. Now that I think about it, I don't think she has a name.


And this is the Chauncy the cat. Most cats are quiet and stoic, but this one meows for every thought that pops into her little mind. Theres also a dog around somewhere, but I couldn't seem to find her when I had my camera out.

Well I hope you enjoyed my little show-and-tell. I may post more shots of the horses and maybe the walking trails that criss-cross the porterty. Time will tell.

Man, living with your dad doesn't seem that hard to me... especially with those surroudings!  :o

I know, it must be hard when you're used on doing things your way... but hang in there... good fortune is bound to be around the corner....  ;)

That's not a bad arrangement; looks very pleasant. I like horses...

I guess the fact that your pop has welcomed you into his house indicates you get along with him OK; I'd advise you to make the most of the opportunity to improve your relationship with him if it's needed.
And don't feel like a loser or whatever; you're only 22, there may be much worse setbacks in the future!!

As for my relationship with my dad: We get along great now, though we've had some rough times in the past. But that is another story that would fill a book. As for right now, he is helping me out, and I am greatfull. I did feel like a loser at first, but now I just feel like I have a place to rest and get back on my feet.

Don't worry, my brother is 24 and still lives here.

Looks like a nice place, Tacit. Chauncy looks like she's having a good time rolling around in the sun. As for ginger, I'd step out of the way!
