Big and Weird

Postby TacitBlue » Fri Apr 14, 2006 9:09 pm

I was at work the other day and had just closed the gate and trurned to walk back to my truck when I spotted these strange objects gliding silently across an open field.

I stood there dumbfounded, looking like this :o for a few seconds. Then I remembered that there is a river right on the other side of that open field. This is a barge transporting something. Rocket parts? Amonia tanks? I really don't know, but this picture captures the weird feeling I had when I first saw it, so I thought I would share. ;)

Looks like the kind of things Omag buries in the ground, maybe we should ask his professional opinion?

The tower on the left is the bridge of the ship/boat/barge that's transporting those things. I would like to have gotten a closer look, but I can't leave my post. ::)

DOH!!!!!!! I see it now. It was late last night and wasn't wearing my glasses. The units to me looked as though they were on the ground and not the ship ::)

Exactly, but they were moving, and that's what freaked me out about it. ;)

They kind of look like septic tanks. Could be wrong though.

They kind of look like septic tanks...

It may have freaked you out more if they were still and the ground was moving -- then you might need septic tanks.
