..yet more of the "white stuff"...!

Postby Fozzer » Sun Mar 12, 2006 6:07 am

WOWZERS...
Sunday Morning.
Will it never end... :o...!

Poor old Fozz and his trusty motor-bike is relegated yet again to spend his time in his warm, cosy house whilst outside Mr. Weather-Man is coating his countryside with yet more snow...  >:(...!
I poked my ruler in the snow this morning and it measured 3 inches...
(...that's about the same length as my Wiener on a cold morning such as this*)... :'(...!

I just hope that my larder is full of enough "goodies" to keep me going until the snow melts and me and my trusty motor-bike can visit Mr. Sainsbury's Super-Store for some more grub and "Elixir of life"...(Red vino from California)...;)...!

...just look at this lot on my back garden again... >:(...>>>

Image

Paul...House-bound again... :'(...!

*...I should be so lucky...;)... ;D...!

Very pretty Paul. Be thankful you're not in Scotland. :o

Scotland was worst hit by the wintry weather, with more than eight inches of snow falling in the centre of Glasgow.

The conditions meant that up to 3,000 clubbers were stuck in the city overnight and were forced to seek refuge in the nightclub, a hotel and a bus station which opened up to provide shelter.

Elsewhere in Britain there was also heavy snow in the north of England, with cities including Newcastle, Manchester and Liverpool affected.

Both Glasgow and Edinburgh airports were closed this morning, with several incoming flights diverted - including two transatlantic flights which were sent to Belfast.

A BAA spokesman said that Edinburgh airport had reopened at 9.30am, though he added that many flights there were suffering delays

Many roads throughout the country were either completely blocked or only passable with care.

Nice & sunny down here on the Costa Geriatrica. :P :D

43F with T-storms moving through. We had some hail earlier, and a tornado warning for about 20 minutes. Spring is definately on its way.

Too bad for you, Foz... we got our first tantalizing preview of Spring here recently. But it ain't over yet; the first couple of weeks of April often hold rude surprises. Then the rain will come... :P
And no need to lie... we all know you didn't use a ruler to measure the snow!
