A Little Overcast

Postby Willit Run » Sun Jan 29, 2006 7:18 pm

The clouds were hanging low today and we had some heavy rain at times.  The rain stopped and I took these shots of them coming through the low overcast.

That is awesome... I just got home, and as I rolled off the Pulaski skyway earlier there was an Airbus passing right overhead, descending thru clumps of mist,  gear down and gorgeous vapor trails streaming from the wingtips. It was all vaguely illuminated by the strobes, nav and landing lights... haunting.
Good thing I didn't have the camera, or I might've wrecked my car (and the pics wouldn't have come out, most likely).
We're very strange people, aren't we?
;D

Thank you for your comments!! :)

I try to look for different ways to get my shots.  The low ceiling was perfect.

Yes, My Wife thinks i'm strange when it comes to aviation.  Running back and forth to get shots. I have alot of trees in my yard and run from one opening  to another to get clear shots. ;D
