A few good old ones

Postby JRoc » Fri Oct 28, 2005 2:33 am

Found a disc my uncle sent me with a bunch of pictures from when he was in the forces.  Lucky guy, in his career (not including the training aircraft) he's flown the C-130 for a good 10 years, the CC-137 for about 5, then finished off the last 12 or so years flying the CC-150 Polaris.  Here's a few I like.  Sucks I can't find the picture he took of Michael Dorn (aka Worf from Star Trek TNG) riding in the backseat of a CF-18B.

Anyway:

My uncle in his non-standard uniform (note the Saskatchewan Roughriders hat) - If memory serves me right, he was flying back to Trenton from Rio de Janeiro.

:o    :)

Reminds me that I recently asked my half-brother, who was a USAF radar tech  in the  60s, if he had any pictures of aircraft from his time of service. Can you believe he had none?!?!
::)
Oh, well... he's always been a car nut (I've seen more than one picture of the car he owned at that time!), and has plenty of interesting vintage car photos... one of these days I will get around to scanning a few.
