A cool accident

Postby flyboy 28 » Sat Oct 22, 2005 3:32 pm

The other night I went out to take some photos, but tripped on a root and this is what I took.. ::)

Image

Nothing special, but I like how its a blurred foreground, clear middleground, and blurred backround. :)

That one just about killed me.

Cool picture though, looks like lasers and Star Wars and stuff... ;D ;)

It's called "Depth of field of focus"........ 8)

........this is shown when you shoot through a large aperture ( f-1.8 ) at close to the minimum focussing distance, you get a narrow band of "in focus" subject matter,.......the smaller the aperture (f-16), the more you will have in focus......... 8)

............one of the basics of manual photography settings........ 8)

Pretty neat shot.  You should find a photo contest to enter it in.  I bet you it would place.

"bugs eye view"
Let T=Takeoffs
Let L=Landings
If T-L>1 print
