Where were you all then?

Postby Hagar » Mon Oct 17, 2005 3:36 am

Well, I was under the Shackleton at noon as promised but what happened to the rest of you 'orrible lot? ::) :P

It's OK as I knew most people couldn't make it. Our old mate Roger (Tempest) appeared soon after I persuased a nice passer-by to take that silly shot. Here he is to prove it.

I knew that nose reminded me of something. No not Roger's nose but the nose on the Shackleton. Anyone see any resemblance to a huge & rather friendly looking crustacean?

PS. The weather turned out nice after a foggy start & we had a good day out. It was rather hazy all day & not many of the shots I took are worth posting. I'm a tad disappointed as this was the last big show of the season. I hope Roger did better.

No, you weren't in the way. I was up on the bank so got a good view of the whole display. Did you lose that cap when the Bearcat ran up its engines? I seem to remember people running after their posessions when it did.

I tend to wander about a bit so it's quite likely that I was up on that bank with you at some point. Maybe I was standing right beside you. :o ;)

I lost my cap once but can't remember when that was. Being an old hand I turn it round back-to-front if that's likely to happen. Hope you enjoyed the show. There was lots going on but quite frankly I was a tad disappointed.

I take it Rogers snap was taken before he started licking the Griffons in the Shack clean? ;D

They were warned this time! Roger could only pose in front of the Schackleton with the forward canons pointed firmly at his but!

And Hagar! Didn't they ever tell you pointing is rude!  ;D
I wonder what Hagar was looking at in IGS's shot! Certainly wasn't looking at what ther others where seeing!  ;)

I didn't check to see if anyone was meeting before I left and I had no idea what anyone looks like. If I knew what people looked like I would have certainly said hello. I'll be able to recognise Roger n Doug next time so I come over n say hi
