The Spitfires at Duxford this weekend.

TD248 and MH434 again. One of my best Spitfire shots to date.

Once again, TD248 and MH434.

Very nice Roger. Better than my efforts. :D

I could do with seeing these a tad bigger. I don't know why you reduce your photos to 600 instead of 800. ???

Cheers chap, but some of your shots are just great ;)
I always post at 600 because, well, I don't know why really. I'll make some a bit bigger for the next lot I post.
Thanks for your comments chaps ;D

That last one is one of your finest shots PERIOD Roger! It should be gracing the cover of Aeroplane or something 8)

Very nice!!!  ;D ;D
By the way, is the Spitfire RN201 a Seafire, a Mk. XIX or neither?
Cheers  ;)

RN201 is a Spitfire XIV, Griffon engine, 5 bladed Rotol prop beast! She has never been a FAA aircraft, just ironic that she has RN as her code but nowt to do with the Royal Navy, and most certainly NOT an XIX ;)

Whew... that was like British piston warbird pornography... they're quick shots in poor light, but those are beautiful candid moments.
