Now isn't that a pretty father/son picture!  :)

The little trains look... well... little... hardly firstclass rides...  ;D Well done however.

The big engine at Malton seems awsome!

The big engine, as you said Omag, was a fine steamer in her day. Have you ever heard of the Mallard?

Sounds like you're selling newspapers Doug... ;D

If anyone's anywhere around the York area the National Railway Museum is well worth the trip.

Shame there aren't more great steam locos still in existance. Just found this which look quite interesting if you like your BoB class locos... Seems like there are a few still around here and there...

Interesting. Used to see those things thundering through here in the old days. You could set your watch by them. My Dad worked at the Brighton Railway Works until I was born, then transferred to the Carriage Works at Lancing. Then Dr. Bloomin' Beeching came along. Things have never been the same since. ::)
