Tall Ship's Race - Torbay to Santander.

Ahoy chaps,

I have just returned to this fair isle after being out to have a looksee at yee tall ships that are in Torbay awaiting the start of the 'Tall Ship's Race' from Torbay (UK) to Santander (France) & back.

Very nice. I would like to see them under full sail. I bet that's quite a sight.

Wonderful shots...nice to see something different ;)

I saw the Tall Ships when they were in Halifax several years ago...that is the fourth time I saw them.  

I love sailing as most of our family does....why I do not know but most of the pilots that I retired with sail.

Interesting...they also like to cook...have been married to the same woman for over twenty-five (25) years, target shoot and own a bug smasher.

I think there is only a handful of us that still do off roading with four (4) wheel drive machines like Land Rovers and Jeeps.  This usually takes a whole week-end and most spouses do not get involved....compare it to a hunting week in the bush.

Back to the Tall Ships....what a sight under sail ;)
