Loitering with intent

Well, what do you know? I awoke to a glorious morning so I nipped over to the airport to try my luck. I wasn't disappointed & grabbed a few more for the album. These were taken in the space of a couple of hours loitering in my favourite spot at the end of the main runway. Like London buses, everything seems to happen at once.












Not a cloud in sight. If anything it was too perfect. Only hope it's like this for the RAFA show next weekend. I told them they should have held it today but nobody listens to me.

I was born lucky. It was too nice to sit indoors & I had no air displays to go to. I also needed some practice for next week. That's actually a Cessna 170B  (G-AORB) but they do look very similar.

PS. Don't tell anyone but I cheated & looked it up.
