Old Warden Military Pageant...

AKA Charlie and Hagars Grand Day Out III...

Nice display today, with visitors including Kennet's Douglas Skyraider and the F-86 from Golden Apple at Duxford, a Bf108 and finally, totally unprogrammed, a display by the RNHF's Hawker Sea Fury...

Anyway, heres a few pics. Dougs got some nice flying ones (I experimented with videos - apart from being small they aren't bad...)

One for Felix, the Gloster Gladiator...

...Peter Holloway's spatted Miles Magister...

...newly re-covered Sopwith Pup in an RNAS scheme...

...The engine in the DH Hornet Moth...

...and a very unique formation: the 1911 Avro Triplane (1964 Magnificent Men replica), 1918 Avro 504, and the relatively young (1933!) Avro Tutor!...

Oh yes, a Pup with rockets... ;D
Looks like it was a good one this year. Makes me wish I had been there.

Very nice old chap. I like the Gladiator & your shot of that Pup c/w rockets came out better than mine. Please post more if you have them.

PS.
Looks like you and Doug had another great day.

Excellent. Always a great day out here, unless it's raining of course. I'm now eagerly looking forward to the next one. ;)

Thanks Doug. I spent about 15 minutes early in the morning walking up and down between the Pup and the tower taking shots when the sun appeared from behind the clouds. I was quite proud of the Gladiator, and the Pup one (uncropped) was going to be my first Airliners.net submission, had it not been for the trike and tractor behind...
