Beautiful photos man! It's definitaly my all time number 1 warbird. When did you shot Donna-Mite? Didn't it crash last week?

Is that the one that crashed!!?? I was trying to figure it out.... :(
Anyways, I shot it the day before it crashed, last Monday... :-[

Yes, it is the one that crashed....This picture was taken about 30 hours before the crash... :( :(

Aloha all,  I signed up to this forum just to comment on these EAA pics.  Being from Oshkosh,  i must say, well done.


And also, being from Oshkosh,  i can confirm that is the P-51 that crashed.  And he actually went down,  well setting up to do the missing man formation.  Its believed it was a medical problem, possibly heart attack or black out?  And the eye witness on the ground, says that with in mins of him going down, the other 3 came back over and performed the missing man formation.

The most P-51s I've ever seen in one place was seven. Nice pics. Such a shame about the loss of the P-51 and its pilot.

There were 2 Corsairs,  Dale Snort Snodgrass's and i didnt catch the name/pilot of the other (had green stripes on it though)   Snort is one HELL of a pilot.   former F-14 pilot,   used to fly the F-14/F7F Tigercat "flight of the twin engined cats" routine with the Tigercat from Kal-zoo
