Tacits Airventure Pt.1: Random shots

Postby TacitBlue » Tue Aug 02, 2005 10:30 pm

Hello all, my computer is fixed and as promised, here is the first of my shots. To kick off my long string of threads, I chose five random shots (out of hundreds) because it's late, and I just got this stupid thing up and running.

Image
A Sonex. I like these little home-builts, I might consider building one 20 years from now.

Image
A beautiful P-47.

Image
An L-39. There were a lot of these there.

Image
The cockpit of a Ju-82 (and my thumb)

Image
And a Rutan Quickie. The pilot and his wife were really cool, they gave me a couple bottles of water because they couldnt take on the extra weight.

Expect more. I still have work to do on my computer, so maybe only one or two new threads a day for a weeks or so. ;D

Excellent. :D

Nice thumb. Gives a whole new meaning to thumbnails. :P

PS. Think you made a typo. That should be Ju 52.

You're probably right Doug, I always get old planes mixed up.

Thanks for the comments all.

Very nice Tim! Can't wait for more! And wern't you surprised how many Rutan designed aircraft there were there? I know I was! 8) ;D

So it is a Sonex, we've been trying to identify it since Kevin posted a shot 8)

There are two types of aeroplane, Spitfires and everything else that wishes it was a Spitfire!
