Just a note. ...i asked the instructor in mid-flight when are the rudders mainly used for, she said taxying, and mainly takeoff.
She pull the rudder leaver to the left whilst in mid-flight and it rolled, but with the help from the yoke she maintained a steady turn using both.

Of course dont trust my info.

Netherthorpe Aero club has to be one of the nicest Aereoclubs in the country, simply *bliss* the location.
The majority of people there only come to watch and get the sunday dinners

But its also a Very busy club, and dont let the size convince you!

Looks like a nice and wierd aircraft...a hangar was open on the way to the car, so i took a nosy as a simv member would

I'm driving up to Yorkshire for a wedding on the Saturday. Stopping overnight so I could possibly drop in on my way home on Sunday. Have to see how it goes.

I've visited Yorkshire many times. My ex-wife's Mum came from up that way. Ilkley Moor b'at 'at & all that nonsense. Not been oop there for many years though. They still make fun of my accent.

I reckon even Grumpy's Tours can cope with the driving & the lingo. No guarantees we might not take a short detour, via Scotland. I have my trusty phrasebook & map handy, not forgetting my visa.
